I'm laundering the fore cabin berth mattress covers, and was shocked to be confronted by this graphic evidence of my lack of skippering skills.
In my defence, all crew are acquainted with operating a 70-yr old Blakes head in testing conditions. Despite having been talked through the proceedures and signed off on it, stubborn stains confront me.
The youth of today, I give up.

Never mind the stains, where did you get the dinky cross-slide? I suspect it is superior to the aluminium ones I have been looking at on Amazon...

I got it 2nd hand for a few quid, it was originally from Machine Mart and it's cast iron. There are not dear to buy new though, personally I would not bother with aluminium vices and clamps...
