It would appear that some on the forum are better aquainted than others, so who do you know? And where did you meet? I don't know anyone, nearly got to know Cynthia but she left the country before I got to her berth. Also nearly bumped into Chris771 at PeelyWeely but managed to avoid getting a tow:))

small world this forum

I have met the motley assortment listed in tcm's post Have sailed with Colholic (and Christineholic) in Solent (my boat) and France (TCM's boat). He did fall in both times. Also BarryD it turns out lives 1 mile from me and works 1/2mile away, and gets same train home as me, so met him much and his delightful SWMBO Heidi, who is a realtor and helped us buy our house etc etc. I will be sailing to france with BarryD soon, though he does not know this yet.

I have met a couple of forumites (both nice chaps IMHO) and have conversed telephonically with several others. Howver, as none of them has revealed that they know me I shall keep stum in case they are embarassed in any way by our mutual knowledge.
(oh yes...and I also let quite a few hereabouts display their pretty piccies on my top shelf!)

Re: I see..............

Don't you try and court my affections........

You have even tried to join the Holiday club with a P32 not even a bl**dy FAIRLINE. Underhand or what ??

Me, admit to having spoken to you on the Dog and Bone !!!! After I "destroyed" your serious thread .... poppycock and told you so........

And then to be addressed as "I****t" - Well that takes to biscuit ......

Oooops - hold a minute, thinking about it.

1) I said you couldn't join the holiday club before you even asked.
2) I did put a non serious comment into a serious thread - your quite right
3) Yep I do like to play the fool role sometimes......
4) You did offer to chat on the phone after I lost my job ....
5) And yep we did chat one night after a bit of light hearted PM'ing banter.

Actually you, sound like quite a nice bloke really, caring affectionate, loving, considerate. GSOH, slim, youngish, seeking like minded for internet relationship.

I'm in love.

VOTE Boatone president of the Forum......

;-)))) <BG> LMAO

Love Sandra.

Well, I've met Byron aboard Ocean Eagle at his Thames side residance, and Depsol (our number one forum fuel additive expert) on the quay at St. Peter Port, whilst waiting to board a ferry.

I know there are quite a few who float (!!??) around Poole, but I've yet to bump (!!??) into anyone.

Gosh loads in no order -
PaulineB , ChrisP, JFM, KevB, Dave Steward, TCM, HLB, LongJohn, Kim "I am the boss" Hollomby, Coliholic... also in most cases their partners as well. OK most of them I've met at the meal and party that was thrown together in January, but some have actually invited me onto their boats and survivied.

I've spoken on the phone to ToMo and BoatOne.

Who've I upset - Gosh Loads.... in fact at one point or other probably everybody.

Go left, YOUR OTHER left for pete's sake

Wotcha David,
I have a mate called Byron, aka, Old Father Thames, Lord Byron etc etc whom I believe most of the forum have heard of from time to time, met him at St Kats, you'll probably hear of him when he returns from his jaunts. Also been conversing quite a bit with Kev Linnell, mostly about Bayliners, nice bloke.
Everyone on this forum seem to be nice people up for a laugh, fight or argument as you will discover. STICK AROUND.
Cheers
Syd
