Going out in my mates 420 in a few hours, probably sail to east head, down a few tinnys and sail back for more cold ones in the club. Then the same process will take place again tommorow and probably sunday if the sun comes out to play.
Taking parents out saturday, sail then treat them to dinner.
Sunday, got a few mates coming out, plan to go to cowes and hamble - you never know stellagirl you might see me!
Plod around the Crouch Saturday, then off to my mates housewarming. Back on Sunday morning for one and a half days Brightlingsea, then back to Spain late Monday afternoon.
If it wasn't for Garys' daft housewarming breaking up the weekend, it would have been perfect.
Going nowhere near Woody001 and his daft kite flying/ripping exercise.
Sorry, not me. Boats been chained to pontoon so that I have no chance to escape Dearest Daughters wedding. At least the party on Sunday should compensate and maybe the bolt cutters could be put to good use. Enjoy your sailing everyone, I'm off for more liquid courage and to write a speech!!
Thank you. I am going on my wee Ecume de Mer, calling at Cumbraes Water Sports centre tonight, then round Arran starting first thing tomorrow. Any money raised is going to Cancer Research.
10 mph winds forecast, so provided it's sunny (I'm a wimp) that'll be enough to go and practice sailing on headsail alone as you all so kindly suggested.
It's just remembering the conclusions that I find difficult these days.........
Taking my new foster boys out for their first time afloat, up and hopefully down the Blackwater, complete with brand new life jackets. Then back to work on Monday for a rest.
