Who ever uses marina swimming pools?

I can't think of a UK marina that has got a swimming pool. There are plenty with one close by, but not owned by the marina.

Edit. Possible exception. Tollesbury

I was shocked earlier in the summer after paying almost €50 for a berth for 1 night when my wife and daughter were asked to pay extra to use the pool in Teos Marina in Sığacık - no sign at the entrance to the pool and they wait until you’re comfortable on a sun lounger before approaching for payment. Bad form.

Fond memories of the superb pool at Real Club Nautica in Palma (also their pool-sized G&Ts!).
And in just 8 days time I anticipate being in the pool at the new Gulluk marina near Bodrum.
It's what being retired is meant to be all about

'OK once you are in' is one of those phrases that should earn the user deportation to Siberia or somewhere worse like Australia. It is either cold or it isn't. Madam will swim anywhere, even from the boat, and she's welcome to it. For myself, I'll stay propping up the bar thanks.

Or Real Club Nautico Sevilla: one 50m olympic pool, a second one 25m with deep side for dives, a third one 1-2m deep, the fourth a 20cm deep one for toddlers. :)

I used to enjoy the trip there up the river but the new lock with no regular small boat times put an end to that for sailing schools.

Gillingham (well not sure who owns it, but if you're a berth holder you get a membership card to the on-site leisure facilities).

Portavadie has one and an infinity pool (heated) overlooking Loch Fyne...

Oops too late!!!
