Just noticed you are 12 miles from CT. How did you have managed to get 200 miles in front of the next boat behind you????

Not 100% sure. I took the southern route and turned east a bit too early, but over the last few days noticed a cyclonic wind system which I managed to hook onto the back of and stay just out of the light airs. Been making 12-16knts most of the time.

Would have been a bit further down the road if I hadnt made an autopilot error and headed north for a few hours on Sunday, that meant a beat into wind to get back in position. If you look at my track you can see where it all went wrong about 700nm out.

In the cape now, and enjoying a /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif from the never ending fridge.

Bring on leg II
