which yacht varnish

Prior to varnishing all the inside of my Twister, I lightly prepped all surfaces

1. By cleaning down thoroughly with baby wipes to clean and degrease.
2. wiping over lightly with acetone
3. wiping over with ESP see http://www.upkeepers.co.uk/Product/ESP-Primer-Owatrol

Then I varnished...

4. Varnishing with 10% thinners any dry areas requiring priming, repeating until a gloss is formed o surface.
5. varnish 2 coats with chosen varnish.
I used Le Tonkinois.....

I'm not sure why waking up an old thread should irritate new or old posters...isn't it fair to expect chaps who knew the subject then, to know it still?

If people don't look carefully at the dates of every post in a thread, which mostly they understandably don't, the tendency would be to answer the question/s in the opening post as opposed to your question further down. Better for you and everyone else to do a search for "varnish" and if that doesn't answer your question then start a new thread.

I'm sure you'll get over it ...... lay back and enjoy your mixer.....
