I need to reglue the joints of a cockpit grating made of some unidentified hardwood. Grateful for suggestions for a good all weather glue for the job.
A glue called Gorilla? Is this something you can get in B & Q?
Gorilla glue is very messy. I'd use Cascamite.
Pro-Set 170 Epoxy the best there is for all jobs on the yacht. I also use a sealant adhesive called CT1 and believe me when I say it kicks SIkaflex into the drink on all fronts
Also leaves a hard glue line that does not shrink or expand with the timber+1. Yes cascamite. Epoxy will work but maybe unnecessary expense
