Which E-chart/Plotter?

I find that surprising. I assume you are aware that with vector charts such as C-Map it is possible to 'turn off' selected detail to give a clearer view? If you look at the settings it is possible to turn on/off depths below a selectable figure or deeper than a chosen figure, likewise it is possible to 'turn off' light sectors (say for daylight hours) to make the screen less cluttered, perhaps your (or the default) settings have these set to ignore them? Within each cartridge are many charts and the amount of detail depends on the scale of the chart you are viewing, the source charts are clearly marked on C-Map and correspond to the same original UKHO that would have been scanned for a raster chart that you have used before. I have certainly never found lack of detail to be a problem, in fact quite the reverse and I have turned off some depths/contour lines on mine that are not needed routinely in the interest of clarity.
