This was taken In November on our winter cruise of about 200 miles. Though I admit we returned to Plymouth a couple of times in the fortnight. But the weather was fantastic. Even got roped in to move some buoys in Charles town for a film crew. Anyway we will be cruising about Devon and Cornwall over New year. Is anyone about?? Or do we have the sea to ourselves!

Depression gone then?

The old "engine, oil and no sticks chatshow" improved a bit today!

No. Still depressed. Thats why I'm doing boaty stuff! I've just wrote it all down once, pressed the button and it lost the bloody lot. So now the abridged version.

Anyway back to the film crew. The orange buoys were in about 3inch of water and then the outboard stuck down, so we looked right pratts. They offered free beer. But the water was going down and down and the surf in the enterance getting bigger and bigger, so had to escape with no beer../forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Fowey, Cornwall. It's about 10 mins from Charlestown. I live 1 mile away from Charlestown. The local area is very shallow, off Porthpean and Duporth beaches, especially on the spring tides.

Well clear off then. I'd have put Accrington in the picture if I was thinking about the locals. Bloody trouble maker.../forums/images/icons/smile.gif

In Plymouth from boxing day until New Year and other then a Panto on the Friday would'nt mind going somewhere for a couple of nights. Spent 4 hours on the water on Saturday and logged 65 miles between Looe, the Eddystone and Salcombe. Not much out, just a few proper boats and raggies turned stinky for the day.
