Phew, I am in the NW corner but tucked up tight to the yellow marker buoys in front of the beach in 15m. Looking forward to the weekend antics, I'm on 327 from Friday.

Villefranche does indeed look good right now. I cant see MYAG.

I bought a phantom dji 3 with built in gimballed camera and ipad control function/fpv. Going to give it first outing this weekend. Perhaps villefranche this sunday! I'll post the results, if I'm able to retrieve the camera... Not waterproof :ambivalence:

I'll post it ASAP Paul. I have the thing here in front of me on my desk and I am just installing the new firmware released 2 weeks ago that includes "follow me" function like an air dog, and poi where the thing automatically flies around any waypoint that you enter on the fly( in a helix as well as a circle, if you want). It all sounds good in theory. I hope I've installed the firmware correctly because I think that's quite important!

If I get stuck MYAG will help me on Sunday I hope, after a keg or two

Shame, seems we missed you again, we came up to VF yesterday but it looked v bumpy so we turned around and ended up in Salis instead. Lovely in Garoupe this afternoon; heading back to UK in he morning.

The last time I saw him fiddling with electronic components, he managed to repair a Raymarine control unit with some parts taken out of a transistor radio bought in a local shop - I kid you not!
And after all, the thing can't be harder to fly than a Jaguar, I reckon...

Kegs might be a bit heavy. Perhaps a box of matches (to light a candle) is doable .
