Hi Pete
All ok! Just back in UK. I had intended a 2.5 weeks on the boat, but it turned into 3.5 due to winds (mistral in golfe du lion) preventing me getting the boat back from Balearics to France. With the general business of a big cruise I had no time during that trip to look at forum, hence my radio silence. anyway, we had a really nice cruise Menorca-Mallorca-Ibiza, partly in company with my brother (Silver Dee is now in the Med) and partly with MYAG, Nick-H, A+K, and some non forum boats. We had nearly 20 different guests sleeping on Match and Silver Dee combined (not all at the same time) and loads more comings and goings between boats during the day, so things were busy. We had some fine cruising, fine raft ups, fine extreme-anchoring, and fine food and wine. I have loads of photos and some very cool drone footage, which I need to sort out soon and make into a trip report posting, but as a quick preview here are a few pics:

Well it will certainly boost the local supermarket profits. In Calaforte, MYAG managed to clear out the whole beer stock of one local supermarket, well at least the beer he could reach;)

Haha Mike. We now call him Mike-The-Keg. Always turns up with a couple of kegs on ice!:encouragement:
Yup he's an awesome machine when it comes to consuming beer; I certainly couldn't keep up with him:D

Tee hee, yes currently anchored in Villefranche and can report that kegs travel well, lucky that. Very nice here BTW.

glad to see Silver Dee made it from Scotland and hope my modifications to the hydraulic stabilisers worked well.
They did indeed - the stabs have simply not missed a beat since your intervention and pump rebuilds. Thanks on behalf of silver Dee/my brother, who has been singing your praises as a guy who really knows his hydraulics stuff - proper expert!

He knows he has to get back to you on what kit to buy for this winter's upgrades. His choices are the new improvements from you, or a whole chuck out of everything and retrofit of at-anchor all new stab system eg the sleipner 0.6msq fins.

Best wishes

Very nice here BTW.
Nice it is, but depending on where you drop the hook, you might find a surprise tangled with your chain.
This was taken from BA, while trying to leave the bay after anchoring right in front of the Village.... :ambivalence:
Good luck!

Goodo. See you Friday MYAG. I'm on a late Thursday flight LHR-NCE so I'm around the port all day Friday. (I'm just on line on another browser page buying a quadcopter to bring with me! :encouragement:)

Haha mapisM! Remember I put that there for BA. I picked it up a month before BA did, about midnight :-). MYAG, it is in 20m or water in the NW corner of VF bay, the restaurants side, near that steel buoy thing

It does look very nice indeed.

Would that be him behind the swift trawler (i think) on the right?

A new quadcopter, J, very nice! While observing one hovering around the marina a few weeks ago i was very much tempted to go out and get one, but then I remembered what happened to yours :). Have you perhaps found a waterproof one?

Villefranche does indeed look good right now. I cant see MYAG.

I bought a phantom dji 3 with built in gimballed camera and ipad control function/fpv. Going to give it first outing this weekend. Perhaps villefranche this sunday! I'll post the results, if I'm able to retrieve the camera... Not waterproof :ambivalence:
