What happened to the trip that we were sposed to have done to France this year. We had some good weather to do it in too.

So get your windscreen bolted back on fill the thing up ready for next year and well have a stab next year. What d'ya reckon? Or if theres a long cold frosty spell, mines got full tanks and ready to roll.

Tempting, but looking at the weather I don't think there'll be much of that before xmas. If the weathers good between xmas and new year I'll be off down there to regain some sanity.

Still here!

Did almost do France with the club a few months back, but as usual work got in the way, and come the weekend I still hadn't had my insurance extended to cover x-channel, and wasn't too happy with the still temporary windscreen repairs for this sort of trip.

Still, wiv the holidays here, will get insurance fixed, and windscreen too. Might be able to do that during next week in fact. Jan and some Feb weekends already booked up, but willing to go almost any weekend that weather looks good.

PS, I thought we were talking channel islands, not x-channel????

Channel island is X channel enough isn't it. France is only spitting distance from them anyway. Have to get geoff and the others out as well.

OK, I'm game so just holler.

Doing some serious Isles of Scilly planning for mid summer next year with the club. Staying there for 5 days. Most of them are trailing down to Penzance, but I'm gonna go by boat (It's only about another 50% on a Salcombe trip, and at 30knts about 5.5 hours in good weather)
