Lunch at the King Ethelred Inn was very good today. Me Mum enjoyed it too.

It was the wake of that boat that got me! Without it the end of Herne Bay Pier would have been more obvious, and I would have stopped trying to think of somewhere with a sandbank a little out to sea! The 'Martello tower' is of course a tower block in Herne Bay.

Never tried the pub there, although cycled past many times. Perhaps next time I'll stop.....

Gosh. Visibility was good. The 'lighthouse' to the right is the powerstation on the entrance to the Medway? Surprised there is enough angle to see it, but can't think it can be anything else.
