I am looking for any agencies or sites which might have been used by others before I venture into the market. I don’t sell on eBay etc but assumed there might be reliable ways others have used with success .

Agree, ebay or Facebook are the places to sell stuff - OR better still, sell on here ! Go to the For Sale page and it's easy but there is a £400 limit(I think that's what it is currently) good luck. I'll keep a look out for it as I would be interested...

How much do you think it’s worth? If £400 or less try the “for sale” forum on this site.
if more, then Facebook marketplace or Gumtree. eBay probably gets the best prices though.

It’s equally as important to specify what boat it was designed for. A kite designed for a J80 might be the same size as one for an IRC 30’ cruiser-racer but the righting moment of the two boats will be completely different. You may get away with it in light winds, but the J80 kite would probably go pop in strong conditions on a heavier boat.
