A group of us are considering a week away in January "somewhere warm".

Any recommendations for bareboat or flotilla during this time and something reasonably priced!

TIA

Try sailing out of Plymouth Sound (UK): it seemed warmer than it is now... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anywhere within around 30 degrees of the equator will be warmer in January than the Solent this summer!

SWMBO and I run away quite regularly that time of year.....

Playa Papagayo on Lanzarote January 2006,

but that far north you might also get this:

Nothing in the Caribbean would be 'reasonably' (what is reasonable?) priced at peak season in winter..... but you could consider a week in the Grenadines - wonderful sailing there, and the conditions are such that it is a fair bit more adventurous than the BVI's for instance.
One downside is that you have to fly into Barbados, and then hop on a puddle jumper for the last 100 mile leg to St Vincent. Once there you could consider Barefoot Yachts or Sunsail.
Or The Moorings in Grenada.

We have booked a one-way sail from Phuket to Langkawi with Sunsail for Christmas/New Year. After the summer we haven't had here it is something nice to look forward to!
