TIA .... but I definitely need some help (I think we all know that by now ) identifying this coastline / beach:

What is this? (Honestly)

It's a swimming pool. Keeps a bit of depth near the beach as the tide goes out, and may also be warmer than the sea after it's had the sun on it for a while.

There's a much more impressive one at St Malo which I've had a quick go in, but they can do that with their 12m tides. The top of the two-storey diving board is just awash at high water!

That's the one.

We were sailing in to St Malo (passing just to the left of the picture) in T/S Pelican, and we could just make out the top of the diving board among the waves. Someone insisted that what we could see was a swimming pool, but I just couldn't get my head around it. Until we walked round later at low tide and saw it all revealed.

I want to get back there in our own boat.
