Oh yes, I see what you mean. I was going by the vegetation, angle of the sun, type of traffic sign, etc.

A place called Big Shute on the Trent canal system I belive between Lake Simcoe and Georgan Bay. Canal starts at Trenton Ontario and ends at Georgan Bay.

PVB and yogi get the coconut. It is Big Shute marine railway in western Ontario..a wonderous piece of engineering .. sail on at one end ,the boat is slung safely and transported to the other end where you sail off. Not enough time to scrub and antifoul though!! Ps well done starboard for spotting the flag!!

What yacht is she? Looks like she has lovely lines....

Steve..I don't know what type of yacht it was.. I was driving past the spot and stopped to have a look at the railway. I took photos and e mailed some of them to the people on that boat. I don't have the e mail add any more unfortunately.
It seems that there is a transport company who will deliver the masts from place to place while the boats transit the canal system. It is a beautiful part of the world and the lakes/canals look very tempting for a cruise.
