"UCPA" being a French sailing school, the mooring style being typically Mediterranean, I'd say last year in Corsica ?

Must have been quite chaotic moored so close together . Quite a few blown ashore.

Searching for example Youtube with terms like "tempete girolata" or "tempete corse 2022" gives a number of horrific videos, the storm lasted just half an hour and over 100boats were stranded in various Corsica bays. IIRC there was a thread here too.

Just wondering , are they mostly visitor buoys ?. I.e. bow to mooring buoy and own anchor aft ?
It all looks very tight .
Not easy to cope but probably very difficult to anticipate or forecast a Mesoscale.
