Hoping the photo link works. EDIT It should now thanks to Lakesailor below. These are photos of a painting we have inherited and I am curious where the location is. The artist is one Rhys Jenkins, who according to my father-in-law, lived on a barge/houseboat somewhere on the East Coast. He painted this one in 1971 so obviously some features and the boats will have changed, and there might be artistic license too, but the church would I expect be distinctive and the bit of beach/ curve of the river. Also I have tried to pick out what looks like an industrial chimney on a building in the distance. My guess is either you'll know it instantly or not. I can't help but reckon some East Coasters might enjoy the challenge. Any other info about Rhys Jenkins would be interesting, he said he was related to Augustus John, but my googling has not really made any inroads. All just for fun!
