What's the best way to clean boat cover plastic panels/ windows?

Just got a spare old covet at home and the clear plastic panels are not so clear...

One way is to have the clear panels replaced. About £50 a panel iirc.

I heard Windowlene is a good cleaner ... and some say it actually helps preserve the covers windows ...

You could try a product that is made for the purpose of cleaning the windows such as the examples below but in my experience the only solution when the windows start to lose their transparency is to replace the windows.

Good point about the spare. It'll go back to the boat in spring - was finding something to do these next few months.

THAT'S the baby ....

Try toothpaste and a tooth brush if you have units of time to fill or a cloth to apply if not on small part - if no difference and pledge doesn’t work probably beyond salvation

Pledge works surprisingly well.

If your windows are scratched, try polishing the scratches out with Brasso wadding (used to be called Duraglit in old money), it's a very very fine abrasive polish, easy to use and a good alternative to toothpaste.
I find it easier to use and less messy, but each to their own.
Then use Pledge as the final finish.
