What\'s in a name?

Compare and contrast, as the exam paper said. Two boats, both about 26 ft, both long keeled, both around 3 tons, both well maintained and both a bit over 20 years old. One is a Frances 26, the other a Samphire 26. The only differences I can find in brief write-ups is that the Frances is "surprisingly quick" and the Samphire is a bit slow. So why is the Frances 50% more expensive? Is it all down to being better known?

Re: What\'s in a name?

The Frances has a reputation as a bombproof bluewater cruiser . . . I think that's why.
