You say that your solicitor has heard of other dissatisfied customers of this company.
Perhaps a well placed classified ad asking them to contact you with a view to solving your joint problems, could serve the dual purposes of bad publicity for the company and finding some allies to fight beside you.

Good luck

Re: Admittedly

Did you try trading standards? They tend not to act on one complaint, but if you are part of a series they can be quite unpleasant.
How much are you talking about losing?

Re: Admittedly

Not yet, have gone to the FSA and GISC but they are going to be rather slow to say the least.

As it stands at present the "discrepancy" is some £9000.

Re: Admittedly

I'm MD but I work hard and sail a small yacht with a crew of one me, or three if the kids are with me.

Re: Keep an open mind

Phil,

If you mail me some details I would certainly read through them and pass them onto the relevant magazine editors. Where we go from there really depends on what you send us. Alternatively it sounds as if you are coming to the show, in which case my office is the glass carbuncle alongside stand 7A (Motor Boats Monthly and Classic Boat).

Re: Admittedly

The point is Buck, that you seem to want it both ways - you come on all tough as the MD of an international comapny one minute and the next your man ordinary Joe. IMHO you can't have it both ways.

At the end of the day, purchasers really only have one contact with organisations and that's generally with its sales staff or other representatives - MD's and CEO's can be remarkably difficult to contact when it suits them. Under those circumstances they (sales staff) are in the firing line and can expect some stick - that's partly what they're paid for. The important point to note is that the purchasers annoyance is not personal.

Like you say - life is poo - even for sales staff.

PS

Usually, MD's can only be enticed out when their bottom (line) is being kicked. Then, they personally are being hit where it hurts - the wallet - via bonus or share price.

your so wrong

MD's are easy to get to, all you do is ignore the secretary and steam into the office, simple. If you feel agrieved enough to do it. Other than that take them to court or leave it. Enough of this now, it's getting boring. Colvics case is more complex than this both because of how far he is along with the company in question and also because of his personal circumstances, by the way I can have it both ways coz I'm brilliant. ner ner

Re: your so wrong

Brian,

My company is growing smaller by the day having been very large in the past but the stress just is'nt worth it. MD's should be accessible, I always was and indeed still am, other MD's allways are if a bit of applied thought is used, you people really seem to have a them and us attitude don't you, I have achieved because I work damn hard so save the socialist poo for the dole office where you can find a few like minded people who do not want to work and think having no income is the fault of those that do. Obviously that dosent apply to all people at the dole office, thought I better add that before you build yourself a bigger soap box to stand on. I was'nt saying anything about Colvics physical proportions as I don't know them but you can continue to jump to conclusions as its obviously in your character to do so. Maybe you should ask Colvic for the facts so you can make an informed comment rather than one based on ignorance and supposition.
As for handing out leaflets, there is a world of far more effective ways of doing things than that.
Oh what fun.

I'd say the stress has definitely got to you Buck. I am sure you do work hard.

Sarcasm is as tempting as your dismisall - but I'll resist it.

Re: your so wrong

Maybe you should re-read your previous posts before laying the blame at my door, all I did was express an opinion but you seem to be offended that its not the same as yours.

Go on do the sarcasm bit we can get a really good fight going, then completely lose track, upset the management, and self destruct in an entirely human way.
