.....a suitable period of mourning before Keith shuts down the terraces?

On second thoughts, the actual footy is not over yet , is it? Just becos we've been knocked out doesn't mean we should pick up the ball and go home?

Some English flags on the river were promptly lowered to half mast yesterday but they are back up at the truck again this morning. Are they in denial?

My condolences to those committed fans here who now feel bereft but I can only think it was not a very satisfactory way to win or to lose.

Papers today stll snipe at erikkson, seems to me the players made their own result. roony's foul, then threee players couldn't hit a penalty AND portugal missed one. It really was there for the taking.
