What vp is this outdrive.

Hi All.
Can someone shed some light on the VP drive, its on a KAD300, is it a good version of a vp out, and does it still have the old reverse lock system. as on the old 290 drives.

Its a DPG drive and no it doesn’t have a reverse lock, its held by the hydraulic trim cylinders.

Same as other Volvo stern drives. Although the DPG, maintenance has to be spot on every winter, same as a DPH-350 or 370 set up to be fair, and less forgiving then a DP290 with AQ41, or Kad43 or 44s.
