I have seen boats sold on ebay at our club quite a few times, Its fraught with risk as they often evaporate once they find that they cant keep the boat there for nothing. "I wouldnt have bought it if i knew i had to pay to join etc etc".
Then you have the problem of going through the disposal route all over again.
