I spotted this at Stanley Ferry Marina near Wakefield this afternoon. No idea what it is but my God it is fugly.

Any thoughts on what it is? ( just out of curiosity..and fun).

Yep - probably a free-fall one judging by the sharp bow and streamlined shape.

Seems to be floating very low in the water judging by body to hull joint.

Yes it looks F ugly, but it probably provides a lot of accommodation for it's size.

I'll bet climbing over the deck and mooring is not the easiest.

It's probably heavily ballasted to keep the air draft down for bridges.

Some smart sponsorship decals would look good.
I'm thinking Baygon bug-spray, or possibly some BA aircraft markings.
Maybe some crabfat grey paint and a nice white ensign would disguise it better!
