Best comment I've heard today was on Wogan this morning, apparently at some point within the game the Commentators missed an ideal opportunity when Burnt Haas was sent off and before Hackin Yackin was brought on as substitute to say::

Switzerland are lackin Hackin Yackin, who is sitting on the bench with a Burnt Haas!! Love It.

Very suprised to see no comment on here re yesterdays little event in Portugal? Know begger all about Football myself, but feelings were Good Result, Not to briilliant a Performance. Paul

As you mentioned cricket - there was that famous outburst involving Brian Johnston and Jon Agnew when Botham hit his own wicket and Aggers made the now infamous comment that Botham failed to get his leg over! I can remember listening to that commentary in the car and just roared with laughter. Judging by the reactions in other cars at the time I was not the only one tuned into Radio 4!!

Great commentary of the oxford Cambridge boat race about 5 years ago. on the radio post race the commentator said "The dutchess of Kent is now having to bend slightly to kiss the cox of the Oxford crew" Diddent even know that was the prize!!!!
