What is the cost?

Hi Guys,


Does anybody have any idea re the cost of mooring etc at Plymouth and the Azores, I expect to arrive at the start about a week beforehand and if/when I get there stay a couple of weeks before I cross to Gibraltar.

Are they doing a special deal for Jester?

Hi,

QAB in Plymouth is crazy money.

I understand that the bouys outside QAB are discounted for Jesters

Marina in Terciera (if thats where we are going) is very reasonable - under 10 euros a night. But you can anchor outside the marina, but inside the harbour, for free.

It is run by the local authority so the chgarges were not too ridiculous - however in Ponta Delgada and Santa Maria they have new marinas and are not shy about asking for your money.

Think I saw on the Jester Yahoo Forum that Tony Head who is Plymouth based participant can advise on the less expensive places to berth.
