what is a troll?

What is the difference between a 'Troll' and a 'Trog' and a 'Try'?

Hint:-- Think green and be PC!

Re: what is a troll? Lou1971?

Yeah, me too. I'm so ugly my father kept the photograph of the kid that came with his wallet.

Quote Demonboy "I can't believe you people are falling for this thread"

You see its a double-double bluff. We're only pretending that we are pretending not to take this stuff seriously but in fact we are not really pretending at all, as we don't give a dog's jobbie.
Read a few Ludlum novels and it all becomes clear!!!

I do know who Phantomlady is.
Had dinner with her and her husband about 5 weeks ago in St Martin, before they took themselves back to Jolly H and on to the freezer they call England.
One of the reasons she is here is to chat with the likes of us the forumites, and the level of Paranoia on this site is becoming mind boggling.

PL , I am glad you made it here, dont worry it's like being introduced to a dog that barks n growls a lot, when they get to meet you a few times they will wag their male ego's at you for stroking.

Re: what is a troll? Lou1971?

Pity!! She came across all wrong and a pity you didnt mention it before now, anyway, I dont think she was that badly treated, If she was I apologise. Now what about the stories?

Re: what is a troll? Lou1971?

Come on. To appear from nowhere and ask, as a first post 'what is a troll you keep talking about' is asking for trouble.

Besides, her question was comprehensively answered by Dyflin in the third post but she chose to develop it asking more and more silly unanswerable questions? As a succession of people replied, albeit with a little bit of tongue in cheek, she continued to pick away at it. Statements like:

WHAT IS THE POINT??? Arent you all just paranoid?

Will only serve to wind everyone up. For someone who claims to know nothing about trolling she is certainly a fast learner.

If that genuinely hurt her feelings she should wait until she is properly flamed.

Yes, that is a very good example of when some posters are running out of arguments and are starting calling 'trolls' in lack of other inputs. Thanks Lemain/JamesFrance for pointing out this tactic to us. We should really look out for it. You would never ever use that tactic yourself, would you.........................?????

Sorry James I thought I had !!!

Love your boat by the way. I used to see them being built at Calpe.

Thanks, I think she was second to last of the fifty footers built and was commissioned in 97. I did a visit to the yard last year but they only build SD cruisers now, interesting though.
