What fittings for attaching a seat to this RIB?

I have an old Ribeye, the rib came without a seat/thwart. I’d like to make a seat. The boat has these fittings for a seat, can anyone point me towards the corresponding parts to attach the seat?IMG_7028.jpeg

Common method. The seat will either be a GRP moulding with returns at the ends that slot into the brackets or wood with matching tongues underneath to fit the brackets. Set at a width such that when the tubes are inflated the seat is held in place.

Why not ask Ribeye as they still make boats with that type of seat.

I used to have a 3m Ribtec which had exactly the same fittings. The thwart seat was made of folded aluminium plate.
If you imagine a shallow box, upside down so the large flat was uppermost to sit upon, with the port and starboard ends having an angle of about 45 degrees tapered towards the bottom. You would deflate the tubes a little, hook the angled ends of the seat over the aluminium fittings shown in your photo, then pump the tubes back up. It was remarkably stable and secure once in place.

Was the end that hooked onto the tube something like this? Albeit obviously integral to the seat in the case of yours.

those ones work the other way around. There is a webbing loop attaches to the tube, and those ones hook into it.
I‘ll see if I can find an app for my iPad that will allow me to sketch what it looked like.

apologies for the terrible sketch - it’s painful trying to draw anything on an iPad.
The seat looked something like this:

the top, long sides and short end plates are sheet aluminium, the bottom was open so it could hook over the hooks.

another way would be to replace the hooks on the tubes with loop type ones, so you could use a plywood seat fitted with the hooks you showed in your previous post.

Thanks, everyone, for the helpful suggestions. I’ll try webbing straps screwed onto the underside of a bench seat as these seem like the simplest (potential) solution.

Why not take sheet ply - cut to required size that sits over top of the tubes / fastening.

Then you can either use industrial strength Velcro ... or by cutting and gluing tabs at ends to hook into the tube fittings ?

Further to this thread, I have the same fittings on my 2003 Ribeye and one of them has 'come out' of the Hyperlon pocket. I've tried refixing using CT1 but to no avail. I have Hyperion adhesive or MarineWeld. Any thoughts?
