This Saturday ours are projecting the Welsh and England games on to the marina wall and a free barbie to boot ,

Haslar have free summer BBQ, although this year was paella for a change. Free booze too.

Last weekend they sponsored food at Haslar yacht club event (hog roast), so they score well in my book. Staff helpful too.

That would make me leave asap. Going to the boat is the best way of preventing my wife sitting in front of what seems like every soccer match that comes on tv.

Roy you poor sod. We get that every weekend on the river. Its a nuisance. I'll be at Porth Wen or Aber Menai on the hook this weekend. I see you're beginning to emulate that other marina queen. When are you coming out?

Whilst not renowned for putting on bertholders events (although there is one this weekend to celebrate Queenies birthday), the marina guys at Swanwick always do their very best for us. They're friendly, helpful and always on hand to help if we need it. Mind you...if any of the Swanwick management team are reading this...a big screen for the National team games with drinks and nibbles would go down well with us. How about it? :D

Hmmm, with only 100 tickets for the 700+ berths it was hardly a very inclusive event (only grumpy because I couldn't get in!)
