Anchor bash plate. Is it too much? Thought I'd try something different.
It's in two sections separated at the colour line. The top is one piece and the anchor protrudes through the opening which can just be seen.
The lower section is in three pieces as there is a slight curve on the bow with the two cheeks joined with a length of 5mm rod following the curve.

It's certainly different - not my taste, but it's not my boat. I'd have gone with a longer bow roller.

Seastoke, no it's stainless, probably reflection giving it a copper tone.
KevinV, fair comment. I can always change it later.
Boathook, good point, it's 2mm and tightly held against the hull, plus the edges are chamfered. But worth me bearing in mind.

No I don't think ist too much.

I did something similar on one of my oud boats with an anchor hole in the side not in the bow and a big plate to protect the boat bow

I like it , Jaws like.

If there were 2 identical boats in every way apart from the the bow plate I would possibly avoid it as well. Once on board though you won't see it so does it really matter ?
If I saw two identical boats and one has the stainless shark’s teeth and the other a chewed up bow from the anchor…. I’d go for the shark teeth
