Bayliner is one of those brands which seem to attract ridicule, but for no apparent reason other than they are very very mass produced.
Only time will tell if they survive the 40-50 years some of the traditional brands appear to have succeeded in doing, but they were always good lookers.
Bear in mind they were generally designed for American lakes, which they do fine, so mild offshore use will possibly show up a few weaknesses, but horse for courses eh?
Just see what else you can get for similar money, if nothing takes your fancy, why not!?
