Crikey, that's a neat place to stow the dinghy .. that in-mast furling is better than I thought.

I gave my camera to Mrs Lakesailor to take some pics whilst i had a bit of a sail around. She seemed not to see the yacht!



She did manage to see me a few moments later.

In the 1st pick the Spring appears to have both inmast furling (with a bird scarer ;) ) and a stack pack system!

That's a pretty big lump on the back of the Leisure 17. When my old man bought one in 1971 he made do with a Seagull40! Only trouble was the short shaft and lack of clutch, so he upgraded to a Century.

I didn't know that you had another dinghy. Looks very nice. What is it? When did you get it and where do you keep it?

That was 3 years ago. I used to keep it in the garden. I owned it twice actually. I sold it to a bloke who sailed it in Poole Harbour. Then I bought it back again.


Quite a tedious video. Little bits of breeze now and then....
