Can anyone tell me if the westerly pageant coach roof is of double skin construction, ie is it balsa core or single skin? If balsa or foam core what is the overall thickness. Asking for a mate who is considering screwing plywood strips to coach roof so he can fix prelined ply pannels to.

I had a 21' Jouster of the same era, and that was a single layer of GRP.

My W21 similar boat to a W Warwick and the smaller sister to the W Pageant had a solid 12mm thick coach roof. I know this because I cut a hole in it to fit a flue for a Victory heater. I was so impressed with the lay-up that I kept the plug on the boats keyring!

I think gluing on hardwood blocks is a better idea though.
