Wessex Proflush

Hi, I’m looking to flush the coolant circuit on my twin Perkins Sabre M265Ti’s. I tried to get Rydlyme here in Ireland but had no joy. I think I have found a source for Wessex Proflush.
Does anyone know how much I will need for the two engines?

5 litres per engine at a guess.

they say setup a circulating system with freshwater then add a bit at a time and watch for the colour change to red…as it works it goes orange and you add more to go red again. When it stays red…..all clean. I did that but the water went a bit brown after a while so gave up with the colour thing and slung it all in.

Not as fast as rydlyme but it defo worked well and didnt pink up the metals as much.

If you can setup with 5 litres of fresh I’d go 50/50 and leave it going for a good few hours

Yup I'd agree with Mr G, just done my KAD43 with Proflush used 5 ltrs and it took around 3 hours to flush one engine.
