I got here, early this morning, about half 7. Not a breath of wind all the way /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Oh well, at least I made it. By the time I got to the entrance, I was dropping, and the tide wasn't ready to enter, and since the wind was not there, I just dropped the hook next to the lead marker, set the egg timer, and had an hour. Woke up, checked all was well, had another half an hour... well, I got in here about 11.

Still shattered. Might have an afternoon snooze. £14 a night though! OUCH! £13 to stay on a buoy, so I'll suffer the extra quid to not have to kayak all over the place.

Cloud is building, but it has been sunny and hot all day. I can feel a downpour in the air though. I'd better go stock up on beer and food before it starts.

yerm, dunno. I fancy a proper pint of ale. If the sky opens up, I might be forced, forced you understand, to seek refuge in a nearby public house.

I just went to the local butchers and bought some local beef, then went to a local grocers and bought some local spuds. I'm going to try and juggle mash, steak, and garlic mushrooms on a single burner. Hmm.

Is that an Ovni astern? If so no worries about ligtning hitting Kudu surely it will go for the tall metal stick atop the big metal boat.

Yes, a Dutch couple. They sailed around Britain in it, but properly.

West coast of Ireland, Hebrides, channel islands...

They are setting off around the world next year.

That isn't far off the plan, I have to be honest. haha.

The boat is stopping in Preston over winter to get refitted for the JC (which is worringly subject to me getting a reasonably well paid job). Spring next year should see me quitting said job and heading around to Plymouth, where my suicide will be started from. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
