well, insofar as the primary protagonist has a commercial interest, yes. Though him offering, recommending or extoloing the vitues of [censored] at £30 quid a bottle wil actually generate MORE interest, no?

PS. SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, SOLTRON, whoops I have had it now.
Yes - put put it into the FAQ. It appears that every three days or so some one wants to know what it is and why it's met with cries of terror. BTW If I had a diesel then I might use it, or give it a try at least <G>

As I understood it there are no bugs in petrol (it just goes off if you don't use it), does it have fuel consumption benefits that'd be noticable in a petrol engine?
not in the rain nor on a train
not in the dark nor in the park
Not in a box or with a fox
I will not use it here or there
I will not use it ANYWHERE!
I do not like it that Soltron stuff
so kindly shove it up your chuff!
OK the car is a diesel so discount that, the boat 3.0 Mercruiser with a light hull (assuming Geoff it's the one in the piccie?) and the test period is not realy a like-for-like with changes in harbour restrictions etc..
My 5.7 is a bigger heavier hull and the only figures I've got for it so far indicate it burns about a gallon a mile around 17/19 kts. I need to get some calm seas, and frequent usage to really get a figure to set a comparitve baseline.
Having said that Geoff did see some differences - so I won't discount it as having some properties useful to petrol engines.
