Webasto thermo top v help!

Hi, All.
Just bought a brand new Webasto thermo top v (main unit only)
I want to fit it into my boat It was old stock and there are no instructions with it.
Just need to know what I need to do to fire it up.
There are 2 conectors 1 X 8 pin numbered 1-8 and 1 X 2pin 1-2.
Can anyone help?
A simple diagram would help.

Hi, thanks but it does not say anything about the wiring.

The controller in the thermo top V is specifically programmed to work only with the vehicles computer that it came out of. The wiring diagram wouldn't help you because you need a digital signal. I ran into the same problem and I made a prototype controller. It works well. It will require some custom wiring, but it's not too complicated.

hi, i'm retro fitting the thermotop c to a range rover p38, i know its not boat related but it may be of use to boat owners, after fitting the unit it will go through it's start sequence, but as it goes into full burn it the fails to detect the flame, any idea what this could be?


i am told the resistance on the glow pin/flame detector 'should' be .6 ohm at room temp, is this correct, can anyone check and verify?

i have two units, one with dead pcb, both glow pins show the same resistance at the same temp
