Webasto fuel pump

Right, back on board with laptop this time! I just changed to a new internal temp sensor and it ran ok for about 10 mins then started blinking 10 flashis indicating overheat.Left it a while tried againand the same. Played with connections and its running now but anything else i should be checking? It now shuts down after about 10mins but runs again when turned back on.

I have encountered this on a few occasions, if there is good airflow from the ducts then you need to know wheter it is overheating or just thinks it is, a temperature probe will tell you that, a meat one will do, or a proper digital one if you have access, if the air temp is within specs then it could be, as I found with the afore mentioned occasions, an ECU fault. Really the first thing is to find out whether it is overheating or just thinks it is.

I think it all sorted........ Anyway i ran it at a lower setting for about 2 hrs then cranked it up to full for another hour with no problems.Very happy now (and hot!) Thanks for all the help.
