Webasto fault codes.

Friend has Airtop 40 and is getting fault code F09. What's the most likely cause? It's only a year old and is used regularly.

I assume you mean an Evo 4.0, it will need a new glow pin by the sounds of it, either that or the plug on the ECU is loose, good news is that of course it will be under an on board warranty so a Webasto dealer may well come out and fix it at no cost. Though glow pins are not officially covered after the first 12 months my experience is that Webasto are often sympathetic. Always assuming it is a marine unit sourced from a UK Webasto partner, otherwise not so much.

Not sure where it came from, definitely a UK supplier but not sure if marine version as my mate fitted it to existing ducting, exhaust etc.
