Webasto Airtop 3500

Hi

I have a webasto airtop 3500 heating system fitted in my boat and its just stopped working.When i turn it blows out cold it only.

any ideas where to start looking for problem anyone.

If there are no fault codes flashing on the panel, read the manual to work out which one? if one is being displayed, sounds like it needs a service as the burner is not igniting the fuel, is the feul tank above half tank? sometimes they dont go first time after a summer lay off and need s to pull fuel up the stack pipe.

Have the same problem, LED on control panel flashes 9 times, meaning problem with glow plug.

Led light on mine stays green ,does not flash

The control panel has a switch on it, to either select the fan or the heating.
I was told that if you select fan, then it's always cold air only. You should maybe check you have the switch set properly ?

Neither he standard controller for the AT3500 or the 1533 combined timer temperature controller have a switch for air only. There is however on both the 3500 and later AT2000 with the horseshoe control module, a fly lead that if earthed through a separate switch will do just that. The reason I mention it is that if that fly lead is touching a return, eg the heater body it will run fan only when you switch on at the temp controller. Fortunately it’s easy to prove or disprove, when in fan mode the temp control becomes a fan speed control so just turn it on full and then down to see if the fan speed varies.

Just checked control switch,It was turned to fan Switched to heating and its back working . Many thanks, saves me the cost of service call out
