Web Cams - can they die

worked yesterday, now it doesnt, comfuser says device not present, reloaded drivers and tried another PC, is it dead or just pretending /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Phill if it is USB and you are useing XP remove the drivers, and if windows does not detect it on start up try another port, if that does not work bury it in the garden..
