Thanks for that Frank, I will investigate further. My phone went yesterday and I am now down for a trip abroad sometime soon - exactly when depends on loads of things so the end of the month is looking decidedly unpredictale for me at the mo.


I will call the CA and ask how flexible they are.

And I'm not a CA member.I was going to join this year but will be ashore for all of it so thought it pretty pointless! I consider the CA far superior to The RYA (not that I wish to start a debate!). My grandfather was a member for many years and I grew up reading the CA newsletters and anything else I could get my hands on when I visited.

Hi Frank,

I will miss the January one now - I'm being sent to the middle east on a job and probably straight out to Africa when I get back. I wil keep an eye on the dates though just incase I can get to one of the other talks.
