Can anybody explain why is rained every day in Dubrovnik area for the last week and its forecast for all next week. I had a fantastic week of sunshine up to Sat 20th, just glad I am not there now!

I'm presently cruising the Adriatic and, other than a brief period a few weeks ago, the summer has been appalling.
This began in a similar fashion last year but reverted to a more normal weather pattern by mid June - this year the north/south Europe weather reversal seems prolonged.
As they say, climate change is doing some strange things. From the forecasts, stay in the UK (or go to Sweden where they are having a great summer) for your warm sunshine and don't come to the Med. The vast armadas of charterers will then subside and make the Croatian harbours and anchorages more pleasant for us long-term cruisers.

Last year was our 1st visit and I was surprised that we had a few days of F8 on both weeks. I was told that this was not unusual for F8 but it came as a surprise to us as we went expecting good weather.
