So who's looking at which forecast before deciding to go or not . Let's see if we can find one that shows a good outlook as my weather string isn't altogether reliable

No idea what the contingency plans are , I'm just relying on the Guapacast , it seems to work very well /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Not overly keen on high winds in a shallow draught mobo but the wet stuff doesn't worry me /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The alternative VAT is much preferred too /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif though the Scottish produce some rather fine alternatives of thier own /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

GUAPACAST

OK, seriously this time.

Southern North Sea
=============

Saturday
----------

Rain, sunny spells later.
18°C
WNW 6 - backing WSW - Decr 5 later

Sunday
---------

Sunny spells, overcast later. Showers
19°C
SW 4-5 - backing SSW - Inc 6 later

Is an offshore forecast, inshore may be a variation on the theme.

This one's provided FOC, as you already paid for this one in tax.

Crossing to Ostend on Sunday - just the ticket for Guapa.
Needs a bit of a breeze to get the old girl going.
Aiming for <11hrs crossing. Best time so far 11H15m

Re: GUAPACAST

Sunday forecast is 'orrible for those battling back down The Wallet to Bradwell. SW4-5 incr 6 - pass.

The advantage of bad early forecasts is that they usually improve. Decision time for us will be Friday.

Re: GUAPACAST

I think Mr Bottles will also leave the final decision till then , and if I remember The Wallet correctly , that puts you on a course straight into the wind so not good at all
Being serious for a moment , let's hope for a change before the weekend
