Seems to have been really really wet according to their weather station records, 350.8 mm in an hour on 1 September and 998mm in the day!

That should make the marina a bit deeper at least.

Ah - I have a similar weather monitor (rain gauge) It measures rain with a reciprocating scale - effectively weighing it. When it's gusty it just shakes the cr*p out of the poor thing registering 0.2mm of rain for each shake.
