We have taken the plunge and bought a HR 46, THANKS TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO CHIPPED IN AND HELPED US MAKE THE CHOICE. Next problem is to get it to the med in July after the refit and service work. I will need to keep it in either Turkey or Croatia as the VAT has not been paid, has any body any advice on wintering their either/or. In addition I need one or two crew for the delivery voyage or stages of it in July August expenses paid , any one any suggestions.

Hi, I've already answered your other thread. As to wintering in Croatia, have a look at my links below (the first (?) one re ACI marinas). I would suggest Split (or Trogir) for combination of safety from the elements and convenient airport to UK, or further north: Umag, for instance which is only 1.5 hours from Trieste airport (Ryanair), and well protected from the bora (happy to give you a lift to/from the airport!). I'd be delighted to come and crew on part/all of the trip, especially UK - Med. See my previous PM to you.

I am collecting the boat on 14 July. She is at Saxon Warf at the moment being serviced. The first leg will be either to spain or Gib depending on time and progress. As I work 4 weeks on 4 weeks of I can only do it in hops. Second leg will be from where ever I got on the first leg to Gib or beyond for the winter from 9 Sept for a period of 4 weeks.
