\'We\' didn\'t break it!!

We've just got back from our first weekend with the 250 and I have to say its brilliant!! Still alot to learn and get used to but begining to get a little more used to it! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Couldn't get over how fast it was, trying to bring it down to a gentle 25knt cruise was quite hard work!! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Didn't do too much with her this weekend, just a quick run to Portsmouth harbour, a bit of Pontoon practice and slow speed stuff and then back to hamble, nothing broken and no dents or sctaches! Was a shame the weather was so horrible yesterday, only went out for a quick run as part of the handover, the rest of the afternoon was spent trying to work out where to put things!!

Hi Dave, very different to Scallywag, slowly getting used to the EVC, have to do very short bursts, effectively into gear then back out before its engaged! Have you used one? After a couple of hours out playing/practicing I think I was starting to get the hang of it!

Biggest thing I couldn't get over was the power 2500rpm and we were cruising at ~24/25knts /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
