what is the best connector for my autohelm, Silva stuff seems good, can not find it on their web site!

Yep! Fully agree. Use 'em for all my external connections except the Autohelm, which comes pre-fitted with another type (can't remember the name) with a screw connection. Too fine threaded and awful IMHO.
